WALL-E

My kids have been watching WALL-E lately (over and over again, as only small kids can do without going completely insane). So this one is for them. Angus Maclane was directing animator for WALL-E, and he's also a prominent AFOL. While he was working on the film, he spent a lot of time contemplating everyone's favorite rolling trash compactor, so it's no surprise he came up with a great LEGO rendition, with a couple of tiny scale versions as well.

DUPLO Cars

The next wave of DUPLO Cars set was also on display at Toy Fair. I don't see System scale Cars sets in the Toy Fair photos, so I don't know if we'll have a next wave of these. Anyway, here they are:

DUPLO Disney Princesses

Last week at the New York Toy Fair LEGO presented their new sets for the upcoming year. Most of the hype has followed new themes like Lord of the Rings, and the Marvel Super Heroes sets. For the younger builders, though, they are releasing four Disney Princess sets in the DUPLO line. If my daughter was just a little younger I'm sure we'd be buying all of these. I wonder if we'll see more of these? Or maybe sets in System scale? I'm sure Ariel and Belle would be great sellers as well.

Tiny cars

Brian, aka Dag's Bricks, came up with micro version of the Cars cars. If you put appropriate 'eyes' stickers on these they would be perfect. He's proposed this on Cuusoo, so if you're a Cuusoo user, go there and support this suggestion..

Hellfire

Perhaps the most interesting and disturbing bit in any Disney movie is Hellfire from the Hunchback of Notre Dame (well, also Night on Bald Mountain from Fantasia), here in LEGO formby Jordan Schwartz.

Protect me, Maria
Don't let this siren cast her spell
Don't let her fire sear my flesh and bone
Destroy Esmeralda
And let her taste the fires of Hell
Or else let her be mine and mine alone

Hey, this is probably the only thing I'll ever be able to cross-post between GodBricks and DisneyBricks!
