I have to admit that I don't know exactly what's going on here. What I gather from some Googling and Wikipeding is that Nakagawa Shoko is a Japanese pop star who is known for wearing costumes, so here TKH shows her as Donald Duck.

More Mickey mosaics from Arthur

While looking through Arthur Gugick's stream to find a picture of yesterday's featured mosaic (though I ended up using one taken at BrickCon, because it was a better photo), I was reminded that Arthur has come back to Mickey for mosaic inspiration on other occasions, like this never-completed (because it was knocked down and destroyed) Steamboat Willie and another headlight mosaic.

TheBrickMan made these wonderful mosaics for his sons. Lucky kids - these may be my favorite LEGO mosaics ever. Though I have to agree with a Flickr commenter that I'd find it tough to fall asleep with Mike's huge eye watching me.



Okay, I'm going to swerve dangerously off-topic here and also feature his non-Disney/Pixar mosaics, because these are just too great to pass up.
