Toy Story that Time Forgot

If you're like my family, you DVR'd Toy Story that Time Forgot and have watched it a few times by now. It does not appear that LEGO builder Angus MacLane was involved in the production at all, and so this did not have as much LEGO as Toy Story of Terror, which had the LEGO bunny as a very useful side character as well as some other incidental shots of LEGO. However, when Bonnie first throws her backpack (with Woody, Buzz, Rex, Trixie, and the new Angel Kitty) into Mason's room, it lands on some scattered LEGO on the floor. In addition to these loose bricks, there is a pretty extensive LEGO city built on the table, complete with LEGO Pizza Planet truck.

Fantasia float

BrickBaron built this Fantasia float as part of a LEGO parade display by his LUG. This would be perfect in the Disneyland parades.

I love warm hugs

Hi all,
First up, I just wanted to apologize for my six month hiatus. I've been blogging about LEGO for nine years now, and from time to time I've just gotten a bit run down and distracted from my family of blogs. However, in the meantime, I'm constantly going through Flickr, Brickshelf, and other sites, and probably every day I bookmark a few more things that I keep meaning to post. I've gotten a couple of nice notes asking where I've been, and I guess it's time to come back. Also, during the year I save up LEGO books to review as people are getting ready for Christmas, and want to get those posted. And so, back to blogging. Hopefully I won't have too many interruptions in the near future. I've certainly got a backlog of great creations to feature.

Let's jump right back in with Olaf, just in time for the Christmas season.

Many faces of John Ratzenberger

Dave Ware came up with this great John Ratzenberger mosaic, featuring all of the Pixar characters he's voiced. He even got it autographed.

Did anyone else catch the hidden Mickey in last week's Once Upon a Time? In the opening scene some plates totally make up a Mickey silhouette. Anyway, InkBlotPhoto gives us Regina.
