Can you find Nemo?

Siercon and Coral made this amazing coral reef, featuring Nemo, or actually I think that would be Marlin, based on the comparison in size to Dory.

Mike & Sully

Readers of this blog are surely aware that in addition to being the AFOL who came up with the cube dude design, he's also part of Pixar, and has worked at various levels on many of their movies, including directing animator of WALL-E. He's credited as an animator in Monster, Inc., and here is his version of Mike & Sully.

Donald Duck Bay

Orion Pax made Donald Duck Bay from the Similan Islands. This is a real location, named for Donald Duck Rock, which to me looks more like a shoe than a duck, but if it were 'Shoe Bay' I wouldn't have blogged it here.

Nemo

He doesn't explicitly say this is Nemo, but the last time Jim Walshe made a clownfish he put 'Nemo' in the tags, so I'll do the same with this one as well.

Creature report!

The Octonauts on Disney Jr. is one of my son's favorite shows. Here retrogrrrl built a LEGO version.

Deranged clock tower

I've never played the game Epic Mickey, so I was unaware of this. I guess the clock tower from the facade of the Small World ride has gone insane from hearing that dang song so many times, and must be defeated by Mickey, as shown here by Jason Corlett. That's pretty hilarious - I may just have to get that game if it's got more humor like this.

I know the one above is closer to the still shots I've seen from the game, but I rather like this version, without all of the lighting effects. I'd like to see Jason do a straightforward rendition of the ride as found in the parks.

Flounder and Sebastian

Sad news that Mike Crowley, aka Count Blockula, passed away two days ago. Looking through his Flickr stream, I see he built great versions of Flounder and Sebastian.
