I seriously doubt he's getting this kind of mileage

The Pizza Planet Truck (here by Rick_3691) plays a role in all three Toy Story movies. In 1 Woody and Buzz hitch a ride to get to Pizza Planet where they hope to catch up with Andy after being left at the gas station. In 2 the gang borrows the truck to chase Al to the airport to save Woody. In 3 we see the truck in flashback, as Lotso and friends are riding on the bumper before they come to Sunnyside. What you may or may not know is that the truck also has little cameos in most of the other Pixar films. For instance, when the house takes off in Up we see the truck on the city street as the house flies by, or at the end of Monsters Inc. we see the silhouette of the truck parked outside the trailer where Randall is banished. The truck only doesn't show up in the Incredibles, which seems odd, since there's a lot of running around the city, and the truck could have easily been hidden in a street scene. My thought is that there was a conscious decision in making the Incredibles to get away from some of these Pixar inside jokes. For instance, my understanding is that John Ratzinger was almost left out of the Incredibles, and was only added at the last minute.
